From Western Mass and Points South via I-93:

1. Take Mass Pike, I-95, or other means to I-93 north through Boston.
2. After the Big Dig, continue about 5-7 miles to Exit 32: "Rt. 60, Medford Sq Malden"
3. The exit dumps you into a rotary. Travel 3/4 around (left, under the highway), and stay right.
4. Bear right off the rotary onto Salem St. Springstep is the building to your left. Slow down for a left turn into City Hall coming up quickly.
5. Jump down below for parking.

From Points North via I-93

1. Take I-93 South to exit 32, "Rt. 60, Medford Sq Malden".
2. At the end of the exit, stay right as you enter a rotary, and veer off onto Salem St. Springstep is the building to your left. Slow down for a left turn into City Hall coming up quickly.
3. Jump down below for parking.

From Points West via Rt. 2

1. Take Rt. 2 east towards Alewife.
2. Take exit 59 for Rt. 60, Pleasant St.
3. Left at exit onto Rt., 60.
4. Follow Rt. 60 about 3.5 miles through Arlington Center into Medford Square. Follow signs.
5. Eventually you will go through Medford Square, intersecting Forest and Main Streets. Continue 2 blocks.
6. Rt 60 turns left onto "City Hall Mall" but continue strait for one more block to "Clipper Ship Drive".
7. Turn left on Clipper Ship Drive. A Hyatt hotel will be on your right.
8. Turn right into the hotel parking lot and bear left. Park at the end opposite the hotel, near the front of Springstep.

Parking (coming from the I-93/exit 32 rotary):

1. Take the first immediate left turn off Salem St., through the median, into City Hall's entrance (see photo below). This is before the first real intersection.
2. If there is space in front of City Hall, you may park there.
3. Otherwise circle around City Hall to the right. You may park in those lots as well.
4. Otherwise, turn left out of the City Hall lot, and go cross Clipper Ship Drive into the hotel parking lot.
5. Bear left in the lot and park at the end opposite of the hotel, near the front of Springstep.

 

 

After entering into City Hall lot, curve around to right, turn left across street into hotel lot, and park near Springstep's entrance.

A LOT of buses serve "Medford Square", and "Malden Center" on the Orange line is the closed T stop (about 2 miles away = short cab ride or take bus 101). There is also an express bus until mid-evening from Haymarket, i.e. a quick way to get directly to Springstep. And also, the #94 goes back and forth to Davis Square on the Red Line.

Some good bus options:

#326, Express Bus from Haymarket directly to Springstep's door (10 min). Service ends at 9:15pm, but it's a great way to get TO Swing City.

#101 Runs back and forth between "Malden Center" on the Orange Line, Medford Square, and "Sullivan Square" also on the Orange Line. Service until about 12:15 AM

The buses stop in various locations, all within a few blocks of Springstep. Just ask the driver to point you to City Hall, and Springstep is adjacent.
